Cristina Galietto has performed as a soloist, with chamber music ensembles, and as a soloist with orchestras throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and China. She has appeared at festivals and venues such as Kings Place (London), the Théâtre Traversière (Paris), the Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival, and the Tenri Cultural Institute in New York. She has also undertaken extensive tours of China. In Italy, she has performed at events including the Paganini Guitar Festival, Segovia Guitar Week, and the Festival del ‘700 Napoletano in the Sala dei Baroni of the Maschio Angioino.

At the age of seven, she began her training with her father, Alberto, and soon went on to win numerous international competitions. Highlights of her career include EuroStrings 2021 (Petrer), the Uppsala Guitar Competition, and the Andrés Segovia Competition (Monheim am Rhein). In 2021, she was awarded the “Golden Guitar” at the International Guitar Festival in Milan.

Cristina holds three master’s degrees in classical guitar, most recently from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where she studied concert performance under Paolo Pegoraro and Łukasz Kuropaczewski. She plays a guitar by Alessandro Marseglia and maintains a regular international concert schedule.
